Send links with DuckDuckGo

Today I found a neat little trick to send links from a computer to a phone on Mastodon by @Amolith. This will definitely will come to use.

Everything we need is a browser on the computer and an Android phone with a camera. If DuckDuckGo is set as the primary search engine in the browser we can just use this in the address field

If it’s not the primary search engine we can visit the website and execute

qr code <URL>

Scan it on Android

Now we can simply scan it with a barcode scanner app, I’m using Binary Eye for Android.
